What should you expect?
Some time ago a joke has appeared that by being a bicyclist, who in fact myself I am, I am killing the world economy. Truth is, the present day world economy model is already long time ago an unhealthy and an ill one and will anyway, by all means, very soon die, due to lack of enough cyclists. Though, the question remains whether we are smart enough to kill, we ourselves, this present dying economy model soon enough, before it is too late for saving our planet, or all of us are killed in the dying process of this sick world economy
God has given us an almost perfect home planet to live on and has entrusted it for good stewardship to mankind. Since then, however, man has failed in his mission of being a good steward of Earth, and has chosen to continuously spoil and poison it through his foolish actions and overuse of resources. Until the present era, human civilizations have perished or immigrated in order to survive due to the full consumption of resources or due to climate change on Earth. Nowadays both: crisis of climate change and resource consumption have been caused by humans on the entire planet, and it seems that, for the time being we have nowhere else to go
Once, not so much long ago, so very much unlike today, most of the equipment and gadgets were designed and manufactured to last, for long term life and use, not for consumption and quick replacement like today. What a waste of resources for some decades now, already!
Our world menaced and endangered by consumerism is threatened with extinction by the greed and actions of mankind itself, and we are now paying already the price for this foolish greed of ours. Nature has been abused for some considerable time already, and still continues to be. Now, nature is fighting us back, increasingly stronger for some time, and it seems clearly that we are going to lose this fight, not only because we are not intelligent enough, but rather because we are also arrogant and greedy
From now on, we should take nothing for granted anymore. Step by step we begin to understand that nothing on Earth is free or guaranteed
We fantasize about defeating in battle evil aliens and we dream about annihilating and deviating dangerous asteroids on a collision course with Earth, but we have almost consumed and destroyed our planet and we do not have at least the capacity to preserve life on this tiny planet of ours. We are definitely a shame and a failure for such so called and claimed “intelligent” species. We have poisoned and spoiled of resources our planet, which is not actually ours, but this was not enough.
The present environmental, ecological and the subsequent climate disaster on our planet have mainly been caused by greed of mankind. We have been taught that it is OK to be greedy, to consume as much as you can, because it is good for economy and also good for business
A very peculiar thing about human species which extremely well characterizes us, is that we ourselves create huge problems which we later try to solve to undo the evil already done by our actions, or that we find solutions which instead of solving our issues create other much more serious problems. All these prove that humans lack vision and that they also lack long term thinking to ensure a sustainable life on Earth for their next generations
Not so long ago, despite facts, some important people on this Planet told us there is no such thing as climate warming and, although we did not believe them, we did nothing. We took Earth with all its environment, climate and resources for granted and only now we begin to understand how wrong we were
Instead of claiming intelligence and instead of being called “homo sapiens”, man should be called “devourer of planets, poisoner of life and destroyer of worlds”
Many present day “natural disasters”, especially weather related, are due to the actions of humans and nature is only fighting back against our actions, therefore the wording “manmade disaster” is a much more appropriated and it is the correct one…
Throughout history, man has changed his habits and his behavior only forced by crisis situations
In hundred years from now on, if human race is to survive, we will be remembered as some greedy barbarians who spoiled the Earth with their foolish greed for consumption. How do you want to be remembered as?
When doing highly complicated and sophisticated constructions and repairs, like the repair of computers, smartphones, laptops or watches, each of them with tons of interconnected parts, implies not only to rely on your knowledge, wisdom, skills and abilities, because all these are merely only a prerequisite condition for a successful construction or repair.
Best constructors and repairers are deeply faithful believers who know very well that even any of their smallest misactions or mistakes, despite of their technical skills and abilities, can lead to a broken device instead of a successful repair or construction.
